I found this DJ board stored carefully in my desk, still looking brand new despite the dust on it. It was a gift to me for my birthday. When I first received it, I was genuinely excited. It felt like a doorway into a hobby I never thought I’d try. I remember plugging it in, watching the lights blind to life, and imagining myself learning the the basics of mixing like it was second nature.

With time, the enthusiasm slowly faded, realizing that it’s not as easy as I thought it would be. Between the learning curve and everything else going on, the DJ board became less of a new hobby and more of a “someday” project.
