I found this CD on a stack of other CDs on my TV stand. It was gifted to me, chosen thoughtfully by someone who knew I had an appreciation for Tupac. I remember being genuinely excited when I received it. There’s something special about holding a physical piece of media, especially when it comes from an artist as legendary as Tupac.

As always, convenience won. Digital playlists took over, and the CD became more of a symbolic relic than something I actually used. Especially since getting a new car that doesn’t have a CD player. Still, it represents the person who gifted it to me and appreciating albums as a whole.  Whether or not it ever makes its way into a CD player, it holds a quiet place in my music collection as a reminder of how meaningful physical media can feel.
