Art Supplies
Art supplies are the kind of objects that make big promises. A brand-new paintbrush, a perfectly rolled ball of yarn, or a fresh tube of paint always feels like the start of something creative and important. And yet, most of mine have ended up tucked in drawers, tangled in baskets, or patiently waiting on shelves for projects I either never started or never finished.
Still, each item reminds me of a version of myself who desperately wanted to make things. Someone who believed in experimenting, learning, crafting, and expressing. Whether it’s a half-knitted scarf or a brush stained from a single ambitious afternoon, these supplies carry the faint echo of my artistic energy. With these supplies still around, I hope that one day I will find myself trying to remember where I put them, and finally putting them to use again.
